Twitch
Twitch is the platform that Ludohistory started on, and where a lot of ongoing projects happen. Content over there focuses on historical games of any time period, often interviewing other creators, game designers, writers, or academics about their work in conjunction with a recent game. In particular, 2024 will focus on Japanese history as portrayed through games and gaming.
In addition to gaming, there is some variety content there, allowing me to talk through ongoing ideas for projects on other platforms.
YouTube
Edited content on youtube takes a variety of forms. Game reviews, traditional video essays, and historical lectures will be uploaded there as they are done. Due to a lack of time for video editing, there is no consistent upload schedule for these videos.
The most recent video can always be viewed below!
Blog
With the blog, I hope to write more experimental content here, and share the podium a little bit more with guest posts and a wider scope. If you’re interested in donating a blog post, get in touch!
Live events
I’ll announce here whenever I’ll be speaking at a live event! Nothing currently planned, though, so stay tuned!
